The short answer
Bank of Baroda does not publish the password for account statements on its website; it says only that the emailed e-statement is "a password-protected PDF file". The format reported most often is:
The first four letters of your name in lowercase, then your date of birth as DDMM.
| Name on the account | Date of birth | Password to try |
|---|---|---|
| Rahul Verma | 7 March | rahu0703 |
| Priya Nair | 25 December | priy2512 |
Fictional names, shown only to illustrate the reported format.
If that does not work, some reports say the customer ID opens the statement instead.
Sources: Bank of Baroda for "password-protected PDF file", and CreditMantri ("the first four letters of your name in lowercase followed by your date and month of birth in DDMM format"), checked 13 October 2026. The format is a report, not a statement from Bank of Baroda.

BOBCARD credit card statements
For BOBCARD credit cards, the card company does publish the rule: "enter first four letters of the name on the card (all in upper case) followed by the date of Birth i.e. DD/MM". Note the capitals, unlike the account statement format above.

If the statement still will not open
- Check the case: lowercase for account statements as reported, capitals for BOBCARD.
- Use the name exactly as the bank holds it, with no spaces.
- Write the date with leading zeros, day first: 7 March is
0703. - Check the email. If it states a password rule, that rule wins.
- After ten wrong tries on the same file, DocFig pauses that file for an hour to stop guessing.
Convert the Bank of Baroda statement to Excel or CSV
Once the password opens the file, DocFig reads every transaction into a spreadsheet: date, description, money out, money in and balance, with UPI, NEFT and IMPS references kept in the description. Each row is checked against the balances printed on the statement, and any row that does not add up is highlighted with the reason. Download an Excel workbook with real dates and numbers, or a UTF-8 CSV for import into accounting or budgeting software. See bank statement to Excel for the workbook details.
What happens to your password and statement
The password you type is sent over HTTPS with the file and used once, in memory, to open the PDF. DocFig does not guess or try passwords for you; it uses only the one you enter. The password is never stored, logged or sent to the AI model, and nothing from the statement is kept after the rows reach your browser. Account numbers are masked before any text leaves the server. Every step is on the Security page.
