The short answer
ICICI Bank's current website does not state the password for savings or current account statements. The statement emails ICICI sends, as quoted by account holders and finance help pages, give two options:
- The first four letters of the name on your account in lowercase, then your date and month of birth as DDMM. The wording quoted from the emails says the password is case sensitive and lowercase, and not to include salutations such as Mr or Ms.
- Your 12-digit account number, whose last two digits are shown in the email's subject line.
Source for the lowercase format: PaySense help, checked 17 October 2026, which agrees with the email wording account holders have reposted. These are reports, not a statement on ICICI's website.

If the statement still will not open
- Try lowercase first. Some finance sites show capitals or a full DDMMYYYY date, but the email wording quoted by account holders says lowercase and DDMM.
- Leave out titles, spaces and dots in the name.
- Check the email itself: if it states a rule, that rule wins.
- This page is for account statements. ICICI credit card statements have their own published rule; see the ICICI credit card statement password page.
- After ten wrong tries on the same file, DocFig's converter pauses that file for an hour to stop guessing.
Convert the ICICI Bank statement to Excel or CSV
Once the password opens the file, DocFig reads every transaction into a spreadsheet: date, description, money out, money in and balance, with UPI, NEFT and IMPS references kept in the description. Each row is checked against the balances printed on the statement, and any row that does not add up is highlighted with the reason. Download an Excel workbook with real dates and numbers, or a UTF-8 CSV for import into accounting or budgeting software. See bank statement to Excel for the workbook details.
What happens to your password and statement
The password you type is sent over HTTPS with the file and used once, in memory, to open the PDF. DocFig does not guess or try passwords for you; it uses only the one you enter. The password is never stored, logged or sent to the AI model, and nothing from the statement is kept after the rows reach your browser. Account numbers are masked before any text leaves the server. Every step is on the Security page.
