Questions

What is the password for an ICICI credit card statement PDF?

ICICI Bank's FAQ says it is the first four letters of your name as printed on the credit card, in lowercase, followed by your date and month of birth as DDMM, with no spaces or special characters. A cardholder named Anil born on 7 March would type anil0703.

Can the ICICI card statement open with my card number?

ICICI's credit card blog says the statement PDF password is the last four digits of your credit card number. Its FAQ gives the name and date rule. Both are on ICICI's own site, so if one does not work, try the other.

Is the ICICI card statement password case sensitive?

Yes. ICICI says the password is case sensitive, and the four letters are lowercase.

Is it the same as the ICICI Bank account statement password?

No. The rules above are for credit card e-statements. For savings and current account statements, see the ICICI Bank statement password page.

Is it safe to type the password here?

It is used once, in memory, to open the file, and is never stored, logged or sent to the AI model. Nothing from the statement is kept after the result reaches your browser.

Can I convert the ICICI card statement to Excel?

Yes. Once open, purchases, payments and refunds become spreadsheet rows, checked against the statement's totals, and download as Excel or CSV.

The short answer

ICICI Bank's credit card FAQ says: "Your e-statement is password protected. The password consists of the first four letters of your name (as printed on your Credit Card, in lowercase) followed by your date and month of birth in DDMM format. The password is case sensitive and should not include spaces or special characters."

A second rule on ICICI's site: the last four card digits

ICICI's own credit card blog gives a different answer: the statement PDF password is "the last 4 digits of your credit card number". Both rules are published by ICICI, so if the name and date format does not open your statement, try the last four digits of the card.

Building the password, step by step

  1. Look at the name embossed or printed on the card, not the name on your bank account. They can differ.
  2. Take its first four letters and write them in lowercase.
  3. Add your date of birth as two digits for the day and two for the month, with leading zeros.
  4. Type it with no spaces, dots or other characters.
Name on the cardDate of birthPassword
ANIL KUMAR7 Marchanil0703
MEERA S IYER25 Decembermeer2512

Fictional names, shown only to illustrate the rule above. The year of birth is not part of the password.

If the statement still will not open

Convert the ICICI card statement to Excel or CSV

Once the password opens the file, DocFig reads every transaction into a spreadsheet: purchases and fees as money out, payments and refunds as money in. The rows are checked against the totals printed on the statement, so a missed or misread line shows up before you download. Get an Excel workbook with real dates and numbers, or a UTF-8 CSV. See credit card statement to Excel for the details.

What happens to your password and statement

The password is sent over HTTPS with the file and used once, in memory, to open the PDF. It is never stored, logged or sent to the AI model, and nothing from the statement is kept after the rows reach your browser. Card numbers are masked before any text leaves the server. Every step is on the Security page.
